In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Italy showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 15.9K and 36K. A notable peak occurred in mid-December with 35.9K downloads. Active users remained robust, hovering around 1.1M to 1.3M, demonstrating consistent engagement throughout the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a steady download rate, ranging from 12.2K to 19.1K weekly. Active users showed a slight decline over the period, starting at 431K and ending at 387K, indicating a gradual decrease in user retention.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps saw a significant drop in downloads, from an initial 9K to 1.3K by the end of December. Despite this, weekly revenue remained modest, averaging around $150. Active users also decreased from 15K to approximately 11K, reflecting a reduced app usage.
